Gavin Turns 3!
Gavin had a great birthday. Jason and I took him to get donuts for breakfast while Miles was at school. Then he had a birthday party at noon at Jungle Java. He went home to play with his new toys. Then he opened more presents. He played some more. Then we went to Red Robin where he had dinner and a birthday sundae. Now you'd think with all that activity he'd be so exhausted he'd fall right to sleep, but NOOOO! He was up until 10pm I do believe. Too much sugar perhaps?
Gavin wanted a Cars 2 birthday cake, but since the party was at Jungle Java, I felt that it should have a jungle theme as well. So, it's the Cars 2 race cars racing through the jungle.
The trees, cars, and signs aren't edible, but everything else is. Ask the stray kid that licked a rock. LOL
Gavin needed help blowing out his candle. James and Miles were eager to help.
The kids (and Jason) had a blast climbing around.
For whatever reason, Gavin has been saying he doesn't want presents. Even after Miles' explanation about how they do NOT have all the toys, so getting presents is a good thing. Even as his little friend tried handing him a present, he shied away as if it would bite him. At some point during the party, Miles must have convinced him that he should open them. Soon enough he was asking to unwrap more presents.
