Miles is finally okay with getting his hair cut now. In fact, when I asked him if he wanted one, he said yes.

I'm grateful to have a neighborhood pool. Here's Miles being a Chick Hicks Boat. (Again, another reference to the Disney Cars movie. Will it ever end?)

The community puts on a nice festival every year. We even stayed up for the fireworks this year.

Here's Miles "driving" a truck all by himself. This and the carousel were the only rides he wanted to do. He made it perfectly clear that he did NOT want to go on the ferris wheel.

My Mom's group was in the Liberty Fest Parade again this year. Miles was unenthusiastic about the whole thing. Apparently, he didn't think it was very exciting to be literally paraded through town with suckers in hand while other kids anxiously awaited his throw. Nope, he didn't want to have to bother with throwing suckers and would only wave to the dogs. That is until we saw Daddy! He was excited to throw him a sucker and a wave.

Gavin is so big. He's growing up too fast. He weighs 13 lbs 6 oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. At this age, Miles weighed 11 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long. You can compare pictures if you go here.

While back home in Indiana, I took the boys to the Indianapolis Children's Museum with my friend Lisa and her son Aiden. We had a great time.

Naturally, Miles loved sitting in the race car.

Why do kids love to do work when they're young- shoveling, cleaning, etc.? I have a feeling that when he's a teenager he won't enjoy it so much.

My mom made me an awesome quilt! It's made out of my old sports t-shirts; soccer, softball, basketball shirts dating back to at least 1983. I love it!
