Jason and I both want Miles to learn how to ride a bike. Jason dreams of the day he can take Miles mountain biking with him. I dream of the day I can go on a jog while he bikes. Either way, it's not happening nearly as quickly as we'd hope. He does like his wooden bike but that's because there are no pedals. He more or less walks the bike. It's pretty slow going.

Jason turned 34 today. He celebrated his birthday just like a three year old, wearing a Mater hat with a Lightning McQueen balloon. Okay, maybe not exactly like a three year old. He had beer with his cake.

I love when Gavin sucks on his feet. There's just something so adorable about it.

Catching lightning bugs was going to be a first for Miles. He's usually in bed before it gets dark in the summer, so he had never even seen one before. After I told him he was going to stay up late to catch them, he exclaimed, "Maybe we can catch some Sally bugs too!" (Sally is the Porsche in the Disney Cars movie where Lightning is the main character in the movie.) Too cute!
