Apple Picking with Gavin
Gavin and I went to the apple orchard while Miles was at school. It sure felt weird not having Miles there with us. Gavin once again ended up double fisting it. Check out last year's picture.

Miles' First Day of Kindergarten
Miles was excited for his first day of kindergarten.
Here he is with his backpack on and a smile on his face. We walked to school with his friend, Caleb with Gavin trailing behind.
Here's Miles waiting anxiously for school to begin. Gavin played on the playground while we waited, and then some more when we were waiting for Miles to get out. I think Gavin might just enjoy Miles going to school.
This is the part where I thought Miles might whine about me leaving, but he surprised me by smiling and waving goodbye.
Here are the boys walking home from school. Miles didn't have a lot to say about his first day. He said they didn't do anything. The teacher just talked. He has at least 5 kids in the class that he at least recognizes from sports or my friends' kids. Gavin and I have already made some new friends too!When Gavin and I walked down the hall after leaving Miles' classroom, Gavin said, "Now we go to Gavin's class." So cute...
