We took a trip to see Santa. This Santa wasn't the mall Santa with all the elves and cool scenery. This Santa was the kind that "lived" in a little one room house in the town of Plymouth. He was amazing! He was so patient with the kids in his soothing voice. He spent at least 5 minutes with each kid. (Maybe that's not so great if you're in a long line, but it was great for us because we weren't!) Miles, of course, didn't want anything to do with him until Santa began a long conversation with his puppy. Once Santa saw that Miles was relaxing a bit, he began asking him questions. Miles did say that he wanted toys for Christmas. (Okay, maybe I coached him in the car a bit before we went, but I felt that he needed to say something appropriate for his first meeting with the big guy.) Miles still wasn't wanting to go all out and sit on his lap, but he did talk to him; he even smiled a little.
