Engineer in the works?!?
Ah, I can remember the days when I would disassemble things to see how they work. Luckily, Miles can't quite run a screwdriver yet, but when he learns, I'm locking up my stereo. I remember taking my dads reel-to-reel deck apart to "fix" it. My dad came in to wake me up one morning only to be greeted by wires, gears, motors and a big pile of screws that was once his stereo. Sorry dad, but I think somehow you will be vindicated with this one. He always turns his toys over like he's trying to figure out how they work.
"What you need here is a 9 Volt battery. These two AA's only put out 3 Volts total. This thing'll be a lot louder with 9 volts."
"Oh, well, these wheels are just not mounted right. Lets just put these axels on bearings, this alligator/xylaphone will positively FLY!"
